Someone asked if we could plug a keyboard into our Omega PS200. After some quick testing, the enter key seems to be the only one that it will respond to. Is there any way that it can be configured to allow keyboard input?
No. The GUI manager that we use for the UI on the PS200 is focused on the device using a touch screen. With a physical keyboard maintaining focus on the control that wants the input turns out to be a significant challenge. It will work sometimes (when the edit field has focus) but if the focus ever wanders, input stops.
It technically works, but in my experience, the input is not displayed on-screen, and the focus issues John mentioned remain as well.
Same for us, works temporarily, then develops ADD : )
