I was able to set up a Ricoh (MP C2051) as a copy only device in the PharosAdministrator.
*I uninstalled the Pharos iMFP software I had installed*
I connected my PS200 to the Copier using the copy cable. Per the Omega install document I ran through the learn copier.
I was able to logged in using the Omega (PS200)
a copy session started (a timer)
I made copies and could see the number of copies on the Omega and I could also watch it charge me for each copy.
I looked in the Pharos Administrator > System > Transactions and could see my copy jobs.
Now without the Ricoh having the iMFP software installed I could not print to it.
I hope this answers your question.
On-site testing confirms that there is no data connection to the print server needed for COPY-ONLY tasks.
Only the Pharos Terminal (Omega PS200) requires a data connection for account validation. The copy machine itself does not need a data connection.
