Using the computer print dialog box when printing from web mobile print

Is it possible for a user to see the print driver's dialog box when sending a job via the mobile print web interface? Or does

it only pass through the print job and the dialog box would never be accessible.

There are some printer features which would be desirable to access, such as choosing which print tray, or on some Epson inkjet

printers, there are resolution settings, color settings, etc. available in the system dialog box. It would be desirable to see these settings

on both PC and Mac laptops for mobile student users. I guess it would require the laptop to have each printer driver installed though.

I can make a custom popup installer for students to use, but I think it would save from doing that if the web mobile print has all the features.

Mobileprint documents are uploaded to the mobileprint server for print processing.  That is why there is a specific list of document types supported.  No print processing takes place at the client end of this so there would be no way to display a print driver dialog to the user.

All submitted documents are converted to PDF on the server end.  When released the document is ripped via the installed printer driver for the specific type of printer it is being released to on the mobileprint server at release time.

David is correct.  Jobs submitted via Mobile Print have only these post-processing options: Color/B&W, Simplex/Duplex, Pages-per-side, and number of copies.  For the features you are asking about, the user would need to install the Pharos Print Client Package (if you allow it) and print via the normal print method (file/print) from the application.  That assumes the user has access from their computer.  Mobile Print is limited in capability because the user is uploading a document for processing on the server.  It has many features, but is is limited in comparison to client-based printing.  We are working to add new features to the product all the time, and will consider these feature requests in future development planning.
