Device scout not reporting

Our device scout seems to have stopped reporting somewhere around 9/12/2015. I have checked my firewall, which everything is good there, services which the service is running normally, and even uninstalled and reinstalled. Still the scout does not report. Upon opening the configuration tool and selecting test server, I am presented with 'Remote name could not be resolved:'. This is the default the setting once installing the device scout so I assume this is correct. Any one else run into this or have any ideas that I may not have thought of? We are running Windows Server 2012 if it helps.
