Anyone have error below when using the clusterconfiguration.exe?
No Pharos products are detected using this group's network name.
Any solution to make it work it will appreciate.
Which OS are you installing on?
Windows 2008 Datacenter SP2
I semi-recently set one up manually on Server 2012 R2, which is why I was asking. I don't think the cluster configuration worked on 2012 since the expectation was to use the Hyper-V "super easy" cluster method, but we were using VMware and the old tried-and-true active/passive cluster method based on the customer's preference.
Have you already gone through the cluster instructions and set the MachineName and updated the server name in Pharos admin along with modifying the services in the db? I am going 100% off of memory (here from several years back), but I believe that all needs to be done first. That may be the reason that it is failing to find a server with a name that matches the cluster resource name.
Yes I did gone through the cluster instructions and set the machine name however I didn’t update the server name in Pharos admin.
Thanks for the info. I will give a try.
Did that work for you?
I didn’t have the time to work on it yet.
Very busy on other things.
I will try to make some time next week.
Let you know if that work.
