PS200 Omega Station intermittent white screen

    gschwartz Tracker

Hello, I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge on these devices.  I've inherited a fleet of printers and copiers running on a Pharos network, and I don't know much about the terminals themselves.  I have one terminal, a PS200, that will intermittently lock up with a white screen and won't do anything.  You can't swipe a card or even get into admin mode.  If you reboot it, it will come back up fine, but it's happened 3 or 4 times in the past two days.

It will also sometimes boot up with a red LED staying on.  Everything works fine, but the LED is red instead of green.  The white screen is the troubling issue, and it happens both when the device has been idle for a while and when it's been recently used.

I'm planning to try reloading the firmware to see if that helps, but I was just wondering, will I lose all my settings if I do that?  I know the theme settings might get erased, but I'm more concerned about the network and server settings.

      Any help greatly appreciated.
