I just received a question from one of our Uniprint customers regarding users' cards registration:
We have deployed Register Me on Lexmark MFPs to help students register their IDs with Uniprint. They had a question regarding the following case:
If the user replaces his smart card and wants to register it, Register Me gives an error. It doesn’t overwrite/replace his old card details with the new one. We have to manually delete old card details from the server and then he can register his new card.

As designed, the Pharos Uniprint card registration process will allow you to replace the registered card "at will" ... so it may be something in the authentication script. If you post the script here (if there are any passwords or user names, particularly for your LDAP/Active Directory BIND information, please scrub them) I'll take a look at it.
