such as QuickBooks, .Pages, etc
I have been having problems with patrons attempting to print direct from those Mac programs and have not been able to save it into a printable format.
Any ideas on work arounds would be helpful.
Have you tried using the MacOS "Preview" app? It is ever-present in the Print dialog box, and generates a fairly-optimized PDF file that can be readily uploaded to MyPrintCenter. The nice thing about Preview is that you will see what you'll get out of the device before going to far into the process.
thanks scott! I will suggest that to the users and see if that helps them.
We will be releasing an iOS app for MobilePrint very shortly, we are looking at options to support the MAC applications from an iOS device into Pharos MobilePrint. This will not make the first release of the app but is in the app backlog.
thanks Bill. Even though Scott's workaround helps, most users would rather have the option to print directly from MAC apps.
