Hi, I need the Bluperint tracker version 5.1 to install on MAC, where I can get it?
The Mac Print Agent can be found here.
You'll need to make sure you're running Blueprint 5.1 SP 3.1.
This Mac Print Agent supports both Policy Print and Secure Release Here.
Thanks for the info, but at this time we do not have Blueprint 5.1 SP 3.1 and we can not do the upgrade. The version that is in operation is BP 5.1.7838.0. You can get the tracker for this version?
Unfortunately, BP 5.1.7838 (and BP 5.1.8200, the version for Service Pack 1.2) do not have the necessary components to support the piece required by the MacOS PrintScout (new name for both the Windows and MacOS version). You would need to upgrade to service pack 3.1.
What is it that you want to do? There are, potentially, other ways to address this...depending on how your environment is laid out.
We want to have the tracking of their printing from computers with MAC OS X
OK. So any printer installed on a MacOS system, then?
If you wanted to simply integrate with the Secure Release Here function, that is very simple, but if you are hoping to capture and record printing from any printer, you will need the new PrintScout software. Is there a technical reason that you are unable to apply the software, or is it a request of the organization? Thank you!
As required by the organization must operate with Blueprint and can not incur additional costs to obtain new software. Only need to capture and record the printing sent in MAC OS X systems. In the same way we capture impressions on Windows systems
As long as your Pharos Systems support agreement is in effect (check the "Expiry" date within Blueprint Administrator > License > General tab), you can download and install all of the updates you need, including the new MacOS PrintScout. There is no financial barrier at that point, and you get what you need, and where you need to be, without a lot of hassle.
The Service Pack installs very easily...you should be able to do so without need for professional services.
Escott ok, thanks for the information. We will review the possibility of updating the SP 3.1
