Our organization has a test lab set up for IPv6. Does Pharos have an estimate of when Uniprint will work with IPv6?
Supporting IPv6 can't be done for one product, but has to be completed for all Pharos products at the same time. Currently, we are in the process of investigating the IPv6 market needs and scoping the development activities to accomplish this task. Unfortunately, I can't give an ETA of when this may happen at this time, however, once we have all the facts, I will be happy to update everyone.
On the meantime, please feel free to let us know if you need IPv6 in your environment. This information we help us to prioritize the development tasks we have.
Of equal interest on our end is an ETA of when SignUp is expected to work with IPv6...
thanks for the information.
Hennepin County will definitely need IPv6 sometime in 2015.
Hany, UCSC is exploring this as well, and there's some discussion of it happening in 2015. So we're interested in knowing that Uniprint (and ancillaries), Mobile Print, and Beacon are all going to be set for IPv6.
WVU will be implementing IPv6 in the near future and would like to see Pharos support it.
