Issues with Uniprint 8.4 Release Station and Windows 8.1 Update 1

I was wondering if anyone was having any issues with running Pharos Release Station on Windows 8.1 Update 1 workstations.  I have just deployed a new image that has replaced the Windows shell explorer.exe file with the pstation.exe program and some of the station are seeming to hang up with time.  Not sure if pstation.exe needs something from the explorer.exe shell to run normally or if something else is amiss.  The problem seems somewhat intermittent however?

          Hi Patrick,

One common cause of slowness over time in the station is the logging, when the user running the station doesn't have permission to write to the log location.  A default station install logs to <Program Files>\Pharos\Temp, but regular users are not always able to write there.  You can adjust the path in the registry (HKLM\Software\Pharos\Station\Log) to point somewhere else (or turn off logging completely by setting the path to an empty string), or give Pharos\Temp more lenient permissions.

When this happens, the station will run normally at startup, but start to bog down over time...  after about a day or so, it can take so long to respond to mouse and keyboard events that users just assume it has crashed, and everything is fine after a restart or reboot, which makes it seem even more likely
