Print package (queue) disappears after computer restarts

One issue I am facing with Pharos Uniprint 8.3 package is the printer driver/queue installed using package disappears after the computer is restarted. This happens for windows 7 32 and 64 bit. Even I tried to install the individual packages for 32 and 64 bit , it is the same. Is there any fix for this issue. The number is getting increased daily.

That should not be the case. The package installer utilizes the appropriate enhanced credential function to perform the installation (since it both modifies the Registry and protected areas of the file system). What might be happening is that the queue created is being "rolled" into a single object for display within the "Devices and Printers" context of the operating system. If you right click on your printer object(s), do you have fly-out option for the various items in the short-cut menu? If you do, and you hover over the fly-out, you should see the various names of the different printer objects within the larger display object.

This feature was introduced in Windows Vista and carried through to Windows 8.1. The key to the grouping is a matching driver and port. If more than one printer is installed with a matching driver and port, Windows groups them under one object for a 'better' UI experience.
