Re: Windows 8.1 support - Uniprint 8.3
hsaad Oct 30, 2013 10:17 AM (in response to Ian Belton)Last year we released Uniprint 8.3 SP1 to support Windows 8 (Popup and Notify). With Uniprint 8.4 release, Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8 are fully supported. Currently, the Uniprint development team is testing Uniprint 8.4 with Windows 8.1, and if needed, we will release a support patch, however there is no current plans to test or provide Uniprint 8.3 patch to support Windows 8.1

Re: Windows 8.1 support - Uniprint 8.3
Ian Belton Oct 30, 2013 10:54 AM (in response to hsaad)Great - thanks for the information.
We have 2 uniprint systems, 8.2 for students and a pilot for staff running with 8.3. Looks like we will need to upgrade both.

Print Services Hot Fix 411 or later
Popup Client Installer Hot Fix 396
Pharos Administrator HF 386 (required by Popup Client Installer HF 396)-

Just to check because I'm a newbie here - had I missed the information from somewhere else?
Thanks

Re: Windows 8.1 support - Uniprint 8.3
Lindsay Lamb Dec 6, 2013 1:47 PM (in response to Ian Belton)1 of 1 people found this helpfulHi Ian Belton,
Hot fixes get posted to our Support Center site (pharos.custhelp.com); but I am actually in the process of moving that content to the community. I think the community will be a much better avenue for Service Packs and Hot Fixes because it can trigger notifications to members when anything is added (while with a static website no one really knows when changes are made).
The hot fixes Hany Saad is referring to can all be found here (for now!): Uniprint 8.3 Service Packs and Hot Fixes
