woah, is this true? The Uniprint client components don't work on 10.7 yet when it's been out for nearly a year and is on it's 4th major update? I hope this isn't accurate as it would be crippling to our imminent fall deployment and frankly unacceptable from a product support standpoint.
I have been going off of the KB post here https://pharos.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1737/kw/10.7 which indicates no issues. I hope Rurik is in error and has some other issue causing problems rather than the clients not actually working as published.
Have you tested this and found it to not work, or are you going by the published compatibility list? The Mac OS-X Popup and Notify clients currently available on the Pharos Web page have worked in the recent testing I have done (Mac client version 8.1). That includes Lion (10.7.4 in my case) in a Uniprint 8.2 environment using Popup and
Notify messages with Direct printing. I've asked others in support and they also confirm it works. Let me know if you have tested and not had it work.

Somehow Notify stopped running and wouldn't start for me under Lion. So I uninstalled and reinstalled Notify and all is happiness.
My apologies for not digging deeper before posting.

Notify incompatibility with MacOS 10.7 is NOT true. The current Pharos Popup and Notify applications work well on 10.7.x (Lion). Uniprint 8.2's SignUp Client did not work with this version of the MacOS, but there is a patch available. The patch has a couple of incomplete items that do not affect the software's utility (a white desktop is the obvious UI issue; the other is an incompatibility with the application restart feature on start up, but that can be disabled), and is available by contacting Pharos Technical Support. Within 4 weeks, a final version that is compatible with MacOS 10.5, 10.6, and 10.7 for Uniprint Suite 6.1 and later will be posted on our website, at http://pharos.custhelp.com/app/mac-components.

Whew! Good to know it was a false alarm, thanks for the confirmation Scott! Nothing like last minute heart attacks
We just posted Uniprint 8.3 hot fixes to enable Mac OS X 10.7 "Lion" support in the Mac Components section of the support site (for SignUp, Notify and Popup):
We tested the latest Popup client with Mountain Lion and had no problems. Actually, the previous Popup client worked fine, too.
