Today, we had a panic stricken campus when all printing stopped via the Pharos system!
When I looked at the services on our server, it said the Pharos Pop-up Server service was not running. When I started the service, printing resumed as normal.
Can anyone explain to me why a service like this would just randomly stop working? Is there anything I can do to research the problem and find a resolution so it won't happen again? I just know the next time it occurs will be at 3:00 AM on a weekend and I will be called in to fix the problem.
