This is regarding a new printer we rolled out in a new dorm. It is using the same exact drivers as other models we have deployed elsewhere. However, we are experiencing that the Pharos system is adding on a single sided b/w page onto every job, although only one sheet actually prints, causing some billing issues as we've been manually refunding residents. We tried this from multiple machines and multiple browsers with the same result.
Has anyone experienced something similar, and have a fix?
This can happen a lot from Microsoft Internet Explorer. The fix requires a visit to the Windows Registry on the server hosting Pharos Print Server. You can view this KBase article: http://pharos.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1001 to resolve. This will also work if the application isn't Internet Explorer, by the way.
