How to enable Auditing/Tracking with Pharos BluePrint for Remote sites?

    Nader Amer Wayfarer

      Hi,

One of our customers is willing to Audit & Track all print activities at remote sites. These sites are disconnected from the WAN however they do have Internet connection.

Is this possible using Pharos BluePrint? even manaul intervention will be acceptable if no other option is available (like collecting the audits at the end of each month & manually or through API uploading them to the Analyst).

      Thanks

Nader, The Collector used for the "disconnected" site would be unable to connect to the Analyst, so it would become stagnant and not useful quickly. You are better served by exploring either of these options:

          • Use port forwarding on the Analyst site for 808, 8080, and 8081 (the default communications ports; your site may vary) to direct inbound communications to the Analyst. This requires knowledge of a public-addressable IP address to complete.
          • Use multi-homing on the Analyst, and put one of the NICs in the router's DMZ. That will allow you to configure the Collector for the DMZ server.
