I wanted to follow up on this post (my apologies; I thought I had) for the current truth surrounding integrating a Ricoh "IM" series SmartOps Panel (SOP) device with Pharos Uniprint:

In order to use a native SOP model (as all current Ricoh "IM" series devices are), the customer must purchase the Java VM and extra memory kit from Ricoh first, and have this installed by a Ricoh Technical Engineer. Once this is done, the device can be managed using Pharos iMFP for Ricoh 1.5.10 (available for download on the iMFPs, Omegas, & Sentry  page). We expect to have Sentry Print for Uniprint available in the second half of 2020, which will support current Ricoh, HP, Canon, Konica Minolta, Lexmark, and Xerox models.

Pharos Blueprint Enterprise is currently integrated with Sentry Print and supports the following Ricoh models.

[Earlier Post]

Many of our customers are beginning to receive, or may be reviewing, Ricoh’s next-generation “IM”-series of Multi-Function Devices for use in their environments. The Ricoh IM series is unique in that it does not come standard with the native Java platform required by our Pharos for iMFP Ricoh solution, and are encouraged by the news that Ricoh is offering an accessory kit to brings Java to these new devices. Pharos Systems is currently obtaining this accessory kit so that we may test its fitness against our current Ricoh embedded solution for Uniprint and Blueprint Enterprise.

Please be assured that it is our intent to do this as quickly and thoroughly as possible once we receive, and have installed, the accessory kit for the Ricoh IM series, and will provide our update here in this forum once we are satisfied that our customers will have no issues under normal operation. We thank you for your continued support and are honored by your commitment.

Thank you,
