Timing Logs

Version 10

    To help triage latency when using Secure Print, you can now collect timing logs while the Secure Print system is running to reveal the source of latency.

     

    To collect timing logs:

     

    1.   On the machine where you installed the Device Scout, open the configuration file called generalSettings.config located in C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP Secure Print Service\App_Data.

    2.   Turn the profiling on by setting the enableProfiling key to true.

    3.   Restart the HP Secure Print Service.

     

    Once enabled, a separate rolling log file called Timing.log is created in C:\ProgramData\HP\HP Secure Print Service.
